This website came about after conversations I had with my friend Nancy, who had recently opened a small wool shop in Saffron Walden. As she filled the shop with vivid and scrumptious yarns and told me about the enthusiasm of her experienced customers, and others who wanted to learn to knit, an idea started to form. I realised that as a life-long knitter, graphic designer and occasional illustrator, I could produce knitting kits from my workroom at home in Cambridge, and the Internet could make them available far and wide. I’m enjoying the process of developing kits enormously and would welcome feed-back from you about how the kits have worked, or about your own projects. Do use the Flickr link if you would like to upload pics.
